I cant believe it's been a year since i've updated my site. wow. time flies. I've been working at Asylum Visual Effects in Santa Monica. This is by far the coolest, most efficiently run, bas ass, rock'n'roll, super talented studio I have EVER worked for. Nathan and Emma really know how to run a studio. I have worked at a dozen studios that were all flawed for one reason or another. NOT ASYLUM. Asylum is going to be on the map for a very long time. So much has happened in the last year. I made a short film for this AMC Fear Fest and won the contest. Rob Zombie actually picked our film as the grand prize winner. I posted it in my gallery if you want to view it. Alice and I are engaged and yesterday was our one year anniversary!!! AND WERE EXPECTING!!!! Yes, it's a boy!!! ha. I recently broke ground on a cgi short film collaboration. I've had the pleasure of working with Gunnar Gii. There are a lot of very cool things happening with the project but nothing I can share untill 2010. Check back for updates, I will post a link to the project once we are further along. Trust me, it will be great.07/14/08
It's summer again. Oh how I love the heat, fires & earthquakes!! Since mid April I have been working at Gradient Effects in Marina Del Rey. I have been working on two features and a music video. I have had the chance to design a series of shots for the feature film "Informers." I'm also working on Richard Kelly's new film "The Box" as well as designing shots for "This Side of the Truth." I had spent the first part of the new Year at Beau Studios working on car chase sequences in this summers tentpole movie with Angelina Jolie "Wanted." While at Beau I also had a hand in a gatorade comercial featuring Tiger Woods golfing on the moon. After Beau I bounced over to Zoic Studios a few AMAZING months working on shots for "Quarentine" and a few CSI episodes. This year I have been truely blessed. I had the chance to work with some old friends from Art School and once again with Executive Producer of the stars Eric Press.Aside from my day job, Adam Wood, Mia DiPasquale and I have been busting our asses to have our first feature script, Kill, Zombie,Kill! to a strong point where we can begin shopping it around to studios. We have truely worked as a strong team and fashioned this once small idea into a kick ass thrill ride of a movie. This past weekend we "soft launched" the site designed completely by Julio Salvat at Auxillium Studios. The site still needs some work, i.e. writing copy, posting more concept art and mostly a trailer, but it's coming along. Kill, Zombie, Kill!will be updated frequently so keep checking in and PLEASE spread the word.

Faced with what I would consider one of the most complex and challenging projects I've worked on, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. After the holiday break is over I can expect a couple weeks of "crunch time" then , FIN. Emergent GDC demo will be delivered. I want to personally tip my hat to the people that are responsible for this project coming to completion. Scott Ballard, George Malahng, Robert Burton, and Zack Petroc, JC and James Little. We all earned our climbing boots on this up hill battle of a project. It was an honor serving in battle next to you guys, Your efforts will NOT be forgotten.

I have been working at Technicolor in Burbank for the past month and a half. Although it was kind of sad to leave CBS, It is really nice to be working with some familliar faces again. I have sucessfully hit the ground running and delivered my first project in my new surroundings. I've been learning new updated tools and refining my old skills. I am excited for the future of things to come.

I am currently working at CBS Digital in Hollywood CA. We are working on "Star-Trek RE-Mastered" for HD dvd and broadcast. This is one of the most amazing teams I've had the chance to work with. VFX Supervisor Niel Wray is overseeing this massive project under dept. head Craig Weiss, Rick Kerrigan is also helping us make sure things move smoothly. So far its been a wonderful experience. We're turning around a massive amount of shots in such a short period of time. I really believe this is going to be an awesome project once we wrap. To me it's kind of nostalgic being at CBS working on such a timeless franchise as Star Trek.
